Belgium – Bruges – Beguinage
Beguinage or Begijnhof – the Princely Beguinage Ten Wijngaarde Bruges is such a charming place that after seeing its white-coloured houses you’ll fall in love with Bruges.
Really, I did. 🙂
Belgium – Bruges or Brugge
I spent a few years in the Netherlands, so I prefer to use the Dutch names of Belgian cities and pronounce them in a Dutch way, and that confuses my conversations in English. 😀
Belgium – Bruges – UNESCO

Do you know that Belgium is apparently kind of not so well known country,
at least outside Europe.
I’ve never thought like that about Belgium,
but some Belgians said it.
Often people hear about Brussels, but not really about Belgium…
Belgium – Brussels Sprout
Yes, the name of brussels sprout was delivered from the name of the City of Brussels.

The Belgian comics artist Peyo (Pierre Culliford) created Smurfs.
Belgium – My Travel Dream
One of my “small travel dreams” was to spend a night in a boathouse.

Anyway, my dream came true in Belgium and it was a very nice experience.
p.s. It’s not the same as sailing etc.
Belgium – Fries
Here you can read more about today’s picture,
however, I only wanted to bring your attention to probably the most known Belgian dish.
Of course, Belgian cuisine is much more than fires, beer or chocolate. 🙂
Belgium – Flag
National Belgian flag consists of three vertical stripes: black, yellow and red.
Many people often don’t remember the order of colors,
and confuse Belgian and German flag.
(And it absolutely makes sense!
