The other nice walk in Madeira can be done in Paul da Serra plateau. It’s located a bit higher than Ponta de Sao Lourenco (earlier posts), around 1400 m above sea level, and the landscape is totally different.

Beautiful. What is the white on the peak in front on the white? There’s more below it, but I couldn’t tell if it’s limestone?
unfortunately, I don’t know. But the white parts may be lichens ?
