Rice production in Indonesia is an important part of the national economy and puts Indonesia as the third-largest producer of rice in the world!
However, when I was looking at the way how rice is dried and then put into sacks, I got some doubts about eating it… 😉
Do you like rice?

A Wy lubicie ryż?
Like the way so many foods are produced and prepared in Asia, it’s better not to know. : )
exactly! 😀
I like rice , eat a it a few times a week
me too 🙂
I like rice and I don’t have any problem of the way to produce, because usally the rice is cooked 🙂 Have a nice weekend! Simone
I also like rice a lot 🙂
Good idea to rinse it.
it’s better than nothing…
Rice, I can do without it. but others rely on it.
I like it a lot.
I’m Asian , so it’s my staple food.
In the Philippines, the rice is spread on a mat to dry in the sun, then it’s brought to rice millers to remove the husks. Rice without the husk is what Asians eat and it’s very clean. You can wash and rinse it, but then you remove the vitamins that are water – soluble.
I love rice and still eat it, however it’s not so easy to remove pollutions, exhaust…
Can’t eat without it! I’ve seen it dried at the side of the road too but we wash it before we cook it, right?
I also love rice.
However, it’s not so easy to wash out pollutions, exhaust…
I make my own rice mixture with several different kinds of rice from different small farms…. I don’t want to know how it is packed!
it’s a good idea!
however, packed or not, origin is the same 😉
Great travel reflection! Yes, we all like rice.
Thank you! 🙂
🙂
Lepsza kasza, niż ryż 🙂
🙂
I like rice, but not the way they eat it in East Africa and Thailand.
Day after day, same rice different sauce—some days. I am happy and thankful to be able to have variety. I make fried rice a lot. We like it here.
