I’ve actually read there are more names of Easter Island.
Before Europeans came to Easter Island it was called:

Te pito o te henua (navel of the world),
Mata-ki-Te-rangi (eyes looking to the sky).

Easter Island belongs to Chile,
it’s its special territory.

I was actually visiting the Easter Island in April, many years ago; exactly during my birthday – very nice memories. 🙂
