Nomads and bedouins used to survive on those staples only: camel milk and dates.
Only recently did camel milk became commercially available in supermarkets. It is safe for lactose intolerant people and those with milk protein allergies. So it is a great ingredient in milkshakes, hot chocolate, ice cream, cereals. It makes them so light and digestible.
