Nepal – Final impression

High mountains
High mountains

Today, we have the last picture from Nepal. Actually, this one was taken from the airplane while flying from Bhutan to Kathmandu, but we’re already quite close to Kathmandu, so for sure it’s from Nepal.

So this month’s last impression concludes with another picture of Nepal’s high mountains, because often when people think about Nepal, they mean Himalayan mountains. So, do you know what “Himalaya” means?

Himalaya means “house of snow”, or as one Nepalese told me it means “covered by snow”. Both names are very nice, and at the end, it’s about the snowy peaks.

Dzisiaj, mamy ju偶 ostatnie zdj臋cie z Nepalu. W艂a艣ciwie, zosta艂o ono zrobione z samolotu, podczas lotu z Bhutanu do Katmandu.

Na zako艅czenie miesi膮ca ze zdj臋ciami z Nepalu chcia艂am pokaza膰 jeszcze jedno zdj臋cie g贸r, poniewa偶 to one cz臋sto przychodz膮 na my艣l ludziom gdy wspominamy Nepal.

Jedna z wersji m贸wi, 偶e “Himalaje” to “dom 艣niegu”, albo “miejsce pokryte przez 艣nieg”.

Nepal – Girl in Bhaktapur

Girl in Bhaktapur
Girl in Bhaktapur

I met this little girl while walking in Bhaktapur. She was playing with her friend on the street, and suddenly looked at me while the sunshine was on her face and at that moment I took this picture.

Nepal – Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Bhaktapur Durbar Square

And another Durbar Square, but this time in Bhaktapur. All of them are similar, but my favorite was the one in Kathmandu.

________________________________________________________________

I jeszcze jeden plac Durbar, tym razem znajduj膮cy si臋 w Bhaktapur. Te wszystkie place, kt贸re widzia艂am s膮 do艣膰 podobne do siebie, ale najbardziej podoba艂 mi si臋 ten z Katmandu.

Nepal – Doors in Bhaktapur

Doors in Bhaktapur
Doors in Bhaktapur

Today, again a photo of doors. The last doors in June, I promise. They look more modern than the doors of yesterday’s picture, but they may be actually older.

________________________________________________________________

Dzisiaj pokazuj臋 Wam kolejne zdj臋cie z drzwiami w roli g艂贸wnej. Obiecuj臋, 偶e to ostatnie drzwi w tym miesi膮cu.

Nepal – Bhaktapur

Doors in Bhaktapur
Doors in Bhaktapur

Here, we have my first picture from a lovely town called Bhaktapur which is full of templates and conveniently located nearby Kathmandu. Again, I have an eye for old doors. ;-).

Dzisiaj, mamy pierwsze zdj臋cie z Bhaktapur, kolejnej uroczej miejscowo艣ci po艂o偶onej niedaleko Katmandu. Zn贸w wypatrzy艂am r贸偶ne urocze drzwi. Te s膮 do艣膰 stare, jednak obdrapana niebieska farba 艂adnie si臋 komponuje z drewnem.

Nepal – Swing

Bamboo swing
Bamboo swing

In a small village I saw this big traditional bamboo swing and of course children playing on it. It was the first time in my life I saw such a huge and long swing, and also made of bamboo. Children had so much fun while “flying” on it.

________________________________________________________________

Dzieci mia艂y mn贸stwo frajdy “lataj膮c”.

Nepal – Goats

This is a picture of a friendly older woman and a goat with its cute kids. I was even petting some of the baby goats.

Dzisiaj chcia艂am Wam pokaza膰 zdj臋cie sympatycznej starszej pani i bia艂o-czarnej kozy z ma艂ymi. Uda艂o mi si臋 nawet pog艂aska膰 kilka uroczych k贸zek.

Nepal – Rice

Rice fields

There are also many rice fields in Nepal. I think rice terraces look amazing, and it doesn’t matter to me if they are green, yellow, dry or wet.

________________________________________________________________

Nepal – Shivapuri Hill

Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park
Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park

What do you prefer, white mountains or green hills? I think all of them are gorgeous! But in hills like these, if you’re (un-)lucky you may meet tigers, leopards, or just deers…

________________________________________________________________

Osobi艣cie uwa偶am, 偶e g贸ry w ka偶dej postaci s膮 przepi臋kne.
