For me, Myanma cuisine is somehow similar to other Asian countries, i.e., rice, vegetables and meat. But to be honest I wasn’t impressed by it at all, actually I didn’t like it…
Do you have any experience with Myanma food?

Smaki azjatyckie często dostarczają wielu pozytywnych wrażeń, jednak nie zawsze… Jedzenie w Mjanmie zdecydowanie mnie zawiodło. Niby “typowe” azjatyckie, czyli ryż, warzywa i mięso, ale przyrządzone bez rewelacji…
Macie podobne doświadczenie?

Zdumiewające jest to, co piszesz. Też myślałam, że każda kuchnia azjatycka jest wspaniała. Miałam okazję spędzić kilka dni w Bangkoku i byłam absolutnie zachwycona wszystkim, co tam jadłam 😉

So sorry to hear you were disappointed by the food. We lived in Burma for several years in the 1980s and had the best-of-the-best Burmese cook. We loved the food.

Disappointing isn’t it, when you don’t enjoy the food? That was how it was for me in Korea, but every other Asian country I’ve visited, I’ve loved the food (though haven’t been to Myanmar).
I guess it was my mistake that I was visiting Vietnam before with extra delicious food, so after that nothing tastes the same… 😉
I am almost sure I would not like it. I wasn’t crazy about most of the Thailand food I had.
