One of my typical winter pictures are benches covered by snow. Do you also like to photograph them?
I like the most benches hidden deep in parks, when nobody uses them for a long time, and then snow piles up very high. The benches from today’s picture are located at the main shopping street in Oslo called Karl Johans gate, so I’m pretty sure people were using them a day earlier. That’s why there’s not so much snow. Well, enough for me to really enjoy the scenery! 😀

Jedno z moich typowych ujęć zimowych, to ławki pokryte grubą warstwą śniegu. 😀
They are beautiful. Snow creates such a peaceful atmosphere.
it does!!! 🙂
I love your idea of not much snow! I’d say those benches are blanketed with snow! But, I also love the background. The evergreen on the right, the lights in the tree and the lighted building in the back. I am so enjoying seeing Norway. Eager for your next post!
Thank you! 🙂
Great photo’s.The benches are under the snow but it’s to cold to sit down.Beautiful landscape.
Thank you! 🙂
no tak, majówka 😀
albo Wielkanoc, zamiast Bożego Narodzenia…
Not for sitting down.
Maybe while wearing very warm clothes… 😉
Ciao, Pat
Thank you! Snow makes everything so great, doesn’t it? 🙂
I love to go out in snowstorms and take pics! Love snow. Don’t like the days after. Last week I slide down the train stairs. Thankfully I slide down on my left butt check and no bones. The bruise is looking a lot better. It was so dark – it scared me at first. I like looking at fresh snow on park benches. Snow makes me feel like a kid again.
Oh, I hope your bruise will disappear soon!
I totally agree, snow is great, but when it’s slippery it may be dangerous and it’s not funny any more!
Belle ambiance d’hiver.
Thank you very much, Denise! 🙂
Quanta neve compatta….sempre bellissime immagini
Un saluto,silvia

It looks like a good shield in a snowball fight!

I love benches in any weather, especially rain and snow. Beautiful shot.

Nobody visits them..perhaps…but snow has made them look beautiful… 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
