In Muscat, I found a beautiful feather. It’s blue color was so vivid that I couldn’t miss it. Later, I also spot it’s owner or his friend, and I think it’s an indian roller.
I also learnt that Oman is becoming popular with bird watchers. Almost 500 bird species have been recorded in Oman. The majority of them are migrants or seasonal species, but there are about 80 species that have been classified as residents.

W Maskacie znalazłam piękne piórko. Jego niebieski kolor był tak intensywny, że nie sposób było go nie zauważyć. Później widziałam także właściciela tego piórka (kraska), niestety umknął mojemu aparatowi.
Dowiedziałam się także, że Oman staje się popularnym kierunkiem wśród miłośników ptaków. W Omanie zaobserwowano około 500 gatunków ptaków. Znaczna większość ptaków spędza tam tylko kilka miesięcy, ale około 80 gatunków mieszka w Omanie cały rok. 🙂
A ja myślałam, że chciałaś sfotografować ptaka, ale on – chroniąc swą prywatność – zwiewał tak szybko z kadru, że ino piórko po nim zostało 😉
hihi, w tym przypadku chodziło mi o piórko, ptaszka też później złapałam w obiektywie, ale był dość ukryty w liściach i jakość zdjęcia jest bardzo kiepska.

Oman is popular because it is not as far as Asia but has a lot of Asian birds not found in Europe. In particular, it has a very rich mixture of gulls from all over Eastern Europe and Asia. I think it’s an Indian Roller feather too!
