I saw quite a few women in Havana wearing traditional dresses, but unfortunately they aren’t the typical clothes. They are basically a tourist attraction. Actually you can find them most easily in Old Town of Havana and take pictures with them. There are not only colorful dressed women but also men who look like Che Guevara, and they look really alike!
I had a lot of fun photographing people in Cuba, so I’ll show a few more pictures over the next days.
Stay tuned! 🙂

Na Kubie, miałam okazję spotkać wiele kobiet ubranych w tradycyjne kolorowe stroje. Niestety okazało się, że nie jest to zupełnie typowe kubańskie ubranie, a tylko atrakcja turystyczna…
Większość kobiet w pięknych, kolorowych strojach siedzi w Starym Mieście Hawany i czeka na turystów, którzy zrobią sobie z nimi zdjęcie. Co więcej, nie tylko kobiety się przebierają. Można spotkać też kilku mężczyzn wfglądającyh dokładnie jak Che Guevara! 😉
Muszę przyznać, że miałam mnóstwo frajdy fotografując ludzi na Kubie, i nie tylko tych przebranych. W ciągu najbliższych dni, pokażę Wam moje ulubione twarze. 🙂
Same where I am at the moment – I saw a lot of women working in the tourist industry in typical Vietnamese dress, but not the other locals!
it’s somehow sad, isn’t it?

I love these traditional dresses. I would wear something like this – traditional or not!
I also like traditional dresses in general, and it would be nice if people wear them not only for the very special occasions 🙂
What a beautiful dress! I love all the detailing on it.
They are really great, aren’t they? 🙂

I zoomed in on the hand with the cigar. I found both the finger nails and the cigar quite the eye catcher.
