Today, you see a face of king (imperial) cormorant, also called imperial shag. Its orange knobs above the bill looks funny. But what do you think about its blue eye ring? If you have a chance try to observe how imperial shags fly. You won’t find so much of grace in it…

Dziś chciałam pokazać twarz kormorana niebieskookiego. Niektóre polskie nazwy ptaków nie do końca mi się podobają, ale ta jest idealna! Co prawda samo oko nie jest niebieskie, tylko obwódka dookoła oka, ale jest to właśnie szczegół który przyciąga uwagę!
