You don’t need to snorkel to see corals in the Galapagos Islands! And I don’t talk about the broken pieces that can be found on many beaches. E.g., on Isabela Island you can find many coral formations, because in 1954 the island and surrounded coral reef were lifted because of volcanic activities.

Wow that sure is amazing!!
😀
Thank you for visiting!
No prosze, dobrze wiedziec, bo ja sie nurkowania boje 🙂

Visiting the Galapagos is high on my travel wish list. All the wildlife and nature. Amazing!
How long did you stay there? Trying to figure out what would be best for my trip.
I spent 2 weeks on a yacht,
you can find a bit more in my previous posts 🙂
I STILL haven’t been to the Galapagos Islands, and it has been on my list since the beginning. I’m an avid snorkeler and would love to snorkel there.
I’m sure one day you’ll go there and enjoy snorkelling with turtles, iguanas and penguins 🙂
Great post 🙂 Love the pattern 🙂

Above water corals? That sure is unique!

hopefully, one day you can see how beautiful it is! 🙂
Wow! So the coral reefs are above water? I’ve always thought they have to be underwater to continue growing. Amazing!
Unfortunately, they don’t grow any more, but still look beautiful. 🙂

How cool is that? corals lifted by volcanic activity, awesome
awesome, isn’t it? 😉
Sounds really interesting to be able to see the corals this way, still I wouldn’t give up diving as the best way to explore corals.
of course, diving or snorkeling are also great there 🙂
