Galapagos – Corals

Corals
Corals

You don’t need to snorkel to see corals in the Galapagos Islands! And I don’t talk about the broken pieces that can be found on many beaches. E.g., on Isabela Island you can find many coral formations, because in 1954 the island and surrounded coral reef were lifted because of volcanic activities.

  1. I love the Galapagos and especially enjoyed the underwater scenery. I did not see this above water coral. Interesting! Nice blog you’ve got.

      Galapagos are amazing islands 🙂

  2. Visiting the Galapagos is high on my travel wish list. All the wildlife and nature. Amazing!

How long did you stay there? Trying to figure out what would be best for my trip.

    1. I’m sure one day you’ll go there and enjoy snorkelling with turtles, iguanas and penguins 🙂

  3. Sounds really interesting to be able to see the corals this way, still I wouldn’t give up diving as the best way to explore corals.
