When visiting Turkey by bus I noticed they use lots of flags, different sizes and everywhere basically, including hills. I don’t think they do it to annoy anyone though, it looks like it is a huge part of their culture, they seem really connected to their flag. Probably the same applies to this part of Cyprus.
