Kind of similar picture as yesterday, lazy sea lions on the beach, but today it’s a red sand beach. The Galapagos are volcanic islands and you’ll easily discover many signs of volcanic activity during your trip. The red color of the sand is the result of the high amount of oxidized iron in the ejected volcanic material spread over the islands. Looks so nicely in a sunshine together with blue water and, of course, sea lions.

Bardzo podobne zdjęcie do wczorajszego, uchatki wylegują się na plaży. Jednak piasek jest tutaj zdecydowanie inny – jest czerwony. Wyspy Galapagos są pochodzenia wulkanicznego i wiele śladów ich aktywności na pewno zobaczycie podczas podróży. Ten czerwony piasek jest jednym z nich. Czyż nie wygląda uroczo w promieniach słońca i oczywiście z uchatkami?
