Myanmar (Burma) – Trains

As I said yesterday, pictures of these posts don’t represent the topic so well. 😉

Concerning trains, I don’t really have any experience from Myanmar, but I saw this sentence describing trains in Wikivoyage and wanted to share it with you:
“Get ready for the ride of your life: it is rough, smelly, slow and full of bugs – sometimes. Those train tickets are worth their prices. It can make for a nice story if you survive the night.”

I don’t really regret that I didn’t try it… 😉

Dziś kilka słów na temat pociągów w Mjanmie; i jak wspomniałam zdjęcie nie do końca pasuje do tematyki, choć dotyczy transportu. 😉

Co prawda nie miałam okazji przejechać się pociągiem w Mjanmie, jednak słyszałam, że nie jest to tam najwygodniejsza forma transportu…
W wikivoyage (w angielskiej wersji) można znaleźć bardzo dosłowny opis pociągów w Mjanmie – są one wolne, brudne, śmierdzące i pełne robaków. A jeżeli przetrwamy noc w takim pociągu, to z pewnością będziemy mieć o czym opowiadać… 😉
