If you like hiking and ruins, check the Buffavento Castle on the Kyrenia Range.
Poland – Giewont
Giewont is not the highest mountain in Poland, it’s only 1895 m above sea level.
However, it’s very well known in Poland, because it looks like a sleeping knight.
p.s. the legend says he will wake up when Poland is in danger.
Poland – Tatra Mountains
The Tatra Mountains (part of the Carpathian Mountains) is a mountain range that’s located between Slovakia and Poland.
The highest Polish peak (2499 m above sea level) belongs to Tatra
(on Slovakian side it has a bit higher peak – 2503 m).
Poland – Mountains
To simplify, the central part of Poland is flat,
sea is in the north, mountains are in the south part of Poland.
There are two main mountain ranges: the Sudetes and Carpathian mountains; all beautiful. 🙂
France – The Alps
Beautiful snowy mountains in France. 🙂
France – Mont Blanc
Mont Blanc (French) or Monte Bianco (Italian) (literally White Mountain) – is the highest mountain in the Alps, 4’809 m above sea level. It’s located on the boarder between France and Italy.
France – Introduction
Welcome in 2019!
I’ll start this year with a trip to France.
I hope you’ll enjoy it! 🙂
Thailand – Mountains
I remember a long time ago, my dentist said that one of his friends considers mountains in Thailand as the most beautiful mountains in the world. Of course, it’s a very subjective opinion. I’m in love with Patagonia, but the point is, Thailand is not only country with islands and beaches; there are also mountains with the highest peak of 2,565 m above sea level.
